When generative AI was first introduced in 2022, there were fears about how its ability to easily create disinformation could distort our perceptions of reality. It was anticipated that this would be especially dangerous during an election season. This presentation will explore the relationship between generative AI and disinformation and current conversations about how this issue is continuing to develop.
