This event, organized by the University Libraries Climate Committee and the University Art Museum, continues a tradition of celebrating and promoting female artists. As it has been detected in past, women artists were underrepresented in Wikipedia. To correct this, Wikipedia edit-a-thons, are being held worldwide when people gather together and work on creating new articles and improving and enhancing the existing ones.
