Conducting Evidence-Based Research for Graduate Students and Faculty Online
Using and understanding “evidence-based” research is a vital skill for an increasing number of academic disciplines. After discussing the foundations of the evidence-based movement, we will present strategies for identifying evidence-based scholarly sources. The class will cover a variety of disciplines including health, social welfare, public policy, the sciences, and others, as warranted by class composition. Finally, we will look at rubrics and other tools for evaluating the quality and rigor of a variety of research outputs. Instructor: Elaine Lasda
