QGIS Basics Online
QGIS is a free and open source geographic information system program. GIS software is used to visualize and display spatial data to help solve problems that involve mapped spatial variables. It is an important tool for visually interpreting data. In this introductory session learn the fundamentals such as how to load data and make a basic map. QGIS is available in the IMC and may be downloaded to your personal computer:
